Beur TV

Beur TV, called the ‘Mediterranean Channel’ is a French television station mostly addressed to France’s North African communities (Algerians, Moroccans and Tunisians).

It has a generalist programmation that promotes productions from the Maghreb and the whole Mediterranean area.
This TV channel targets all audiences and and more particularly young people.

2M Monde

The 2M Monde channel is partially airing first in March 1989, it is now regarded as a public broadcasting system, and has been since January 1997. Watched by 70% of Moroccans, it has contributed significantly to the global appeal of the country. 2M is broadcast on the Hot Bird satellite system and presents entertainment, local events, and educational programs. It expects to show American or French films twice weekly, dramas, soap operas, and foreign series (including those from the US). Also scheduled are entertainment programs focusing more on humour with light sitcoms and games like Fort Boyard (called Jazirat Al Kanz). The younger generation are not forgotten, as 2M broadcasts daily from 7:00 am with kids morning cartoons and on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am showing an animated film. The channel also offers news programs, debates, political documentaries and social programs. It covers global programs, reports daily on both regional and international news gathered from 13 different newspapers. To satisfy the curiosity and awareness of their viewers, the channel shows various documentaries and investigative news magazines like “Wide Angle”, which highlight interests for Moroccans including cultural, social and artistic. Since its beginning, 2M has offered programs and film series on Moroccan history and iconic personalities both as news programs and private productions.
