Algérie 4

Algeria 4 – also widely referred to as Tamazight TV – was launched in March 2009 by the Algerian National Television Company (ENTV). In a country known for its multiculturalism and plurality of spoken tongues, Algeria 4’s public service mission is to promote everything to do with Central Atlas Tamazight, one of the most widely spoken of all the Berber languages. All of its programmes are broadcast in this tongue, including its Chenoui, Mozabite, Tamashek, Chaoui and Kabyle versions.

In pursuance of its cultural and social remit, Algeria 4 broadcasts daily from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 pm. and offers a fairly diverse schedule of programmes.
