Al Hiwar TV est une chaîne d’information et d’analyse arabophone qui émet depuis la ville de Londres au Royaume-Uni. Elle a été fondée par des intellectuels arabes et hommes d’affaires britanniques et issus du monde arabe en 2006 sous l’initiative de l’éditeur et intellectuel Azzam Al-Tamimi. Al Hiwar TV (qui signifie “”le dialogue”” en arabe) a pour objectif de contribuer au dialogue entre les civilisations et d’encourager les discussions pacifiques afin de comprendre et de désamorcer les crises contemporaines qui naissent souvent de malentendus. Parmi ses programmes phares on retrouve « 90 minutes » un programme de dialogue politique diffusé en direct du dimanche au jeudi durant lequel sont invités des personnalités expérimentés et des spécialistes dans le studio et en duplex. Al Hayat

Al Hayat TV channel, which roughly translates as the Life TV, is a television channel which is broadcast in Arabic and which can be viewed across the world; the Middle East, North Africa, West Asia, Australia, America, Canada, and some parts of Europe.
Launched in 2003, this channel broadcasts its programmes mainly from Egypt. It has a specific mission to encourage Christianity within the region and is one of a new breed of evangelical TV channels coming from the area in support of the minority Christian Arab community. The network has a wide range of programmes, including some which fully address issue of the conversion of Muslims to Christianity. This theme is also prominent in the controversial and thought provoking programme “Daring Question” which is hosted by Brother Rachid who is probably the most famous and respected presenter in the network.
The programmes on offer at Al Hayat are widely varying in format, with debates, documentaries, an others all available, but all have in common a focus on Christianity or religion in general. The goal of Al Hayat is primarily to support the Arab Christians community in their day to day life as well as to encourage non-Christians to consider converting to Christianity.

Al Hayat TV is very much a partisan channel and its goal is to specifically target a Christian audience, or those wishing to convert to Christianity. The tone is deliberately critical of other religions, including Islam, which often creates exciting debate and regularly causes controversy.

Al Baghdadia

Al-Baghdadia TV is an independent television station that broadcasts in the Arabic language and is available via Hot Bird. This general entertainment satellite channel is based in Cairo, despite being Iraqi owned. Viewers can expect to see a variety of programmes, from serious news based output dealing with current affairs, to entertaining shows, and those which give advice relating to many different aspects of daily life.

Al-Baghdadia TV’s morning show, Al Baghdadia Wa El Nas, is one of its most popular and well-known; here people from Iraq can call in to share their opinions and experiences. The programme also deals with health issues, reports on recent local events, educational slots, sports results and cultural excursions.

During the day the Al-Baghdadia schedule is punctuated with news bulletins which feature journalists reporting on location. Indeed, many TV stations from abroad often rely on Al Baghdadia for more detailed information on stories from Iraq.
